Congratulations to Kellie Barcia who won the big $10,000 prize and Brian Abels the winner of the beautiful bracelet from George Ibert Jewelry & Gifts valued at $500.
Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, sponsored the event, provided food or beverages or volunteered. We are truly amazed by your generosity and support.
The surprise of the evening was the Board of Directors announcement that the Greater Hammond Chamber Board Room was being named in honor of Mrs. Frances Chauvin. Always the #1 Chillin' ticket seller, Mrs. Frances has raised over $260,000 since 2007 to help the Chamber purchase and care for the historic Hammond Train Depot they own. She has actually been raising money for the Chamber for over 35 years! We can only imagine the true grand total of her support.
Hosting inside for the first time, Chillin' was a slam dunk with over 350 guests enjoying the band 61 Suns and the cool temperature. Special thanks to the following restaurants and beverage suppliers who provided refreshments for the event: Blackened Brew, Champagne Beverage, Charlie's Restaurant, Coop DeVille, Cracker Barrel, The Crescent Bar, Eddie's Famous Frozen Custard, Mrs. Frances Chauvin Pies, Golden Corral, The Jambalya Shoppe, Jim Carey Distributing, Southeastern Catering, Superking Seafood and Zaxby's.
Help us cheer on our sponsors one more time! They helped make this event possible!
